Shining Knight over the top
If last weeks Summer Scorcher was over 1100m then I think Shining Knight may have reeled in Black Heart Bart but alas gets his chance here. Does suffer at the weights conceeding Pininci and Hussy By Choice 2.5kg from the Thunderbolt encounter on December 6 and conceeds Travinator 3kg and Cool Trade 1kg from his Crawford Victory, then if you go back to Shining Knights first up run in the Group 3 Reeves he has to conceed Hussy By Choice a massive 7kg for a margin of 1.3 lengths. For that reason I won't be betting in this race. While I think Shining Knight should be winning the weights suggest we're in for a blanket finish. These Listed Sprints have been excellent all summer and this shapes up as one of the best yet.
