Randy 'Savage' Tan

H-Bomber has labelled him Randy 'Savage' Tan and he is riding in brilliant form. His strike rate with Fred Kersley is unbelievable and I would hope many of the regular forum contributers were on Le Shiller on Wednesday because whenever they combine there is money to be made..Grindabella, Culverin, North Ridge, Face Facts, Excellently (I think you get the point). Randy Randy is also extremely effective on Steve Wolfe trained gallopers, especially Conjob. I think Conjob should get a lovely run into the race behind the top end pace setters like Temporise, Baraki Beats and Muskets At Dawn if he can muster enough early toe to get a position up on speed. Conjob should be sitting one out and one back in the trotters special and from there give backers a genuine sight. Miki Two Toes goes 5 lengths better when The Pontiff is steering and back to Belmont where he has tasted success in the past I think he will be the eachway value in the race. Temporise ran a cracker first-up from a long lay off and should open the deserving favourite. Express Dancer is poorly weighted relative to his opponents but offset that with the fact he reunites with Pikey. Stocks gets included in the quaddie because he is undefeated on a soft track.

Due to Baraki Beats poor form on rain effected ground, perhaps the stewards are concerned that connections thought there was no point going forward and pressuring the stablemate Gigante. I have no problem with that as long as punters are informed of the change...

From the stewards report:BARAKI BEATS – Raced wide for the majority of the event. Had a tendency to lay outwards throughout running. Jockey R. Hill was questioned in relation to the gelding racing in a rearward position today as compared to its normal racing...

Was there some dramatic betting fluctuations in some of the races from this program ? I'm told Stewards have adjourned an inquiry into Race 6. Wasn't the move in the price from just $9 to $8 ?

Yes Saxy can be in the finish. My selection is (not normally one of mine) Verdello Blue It is ready to run a race up in distance with the claim and is a great each way bet. Quinella it and Saxy Grace.
