Leaning towards Lenience
Lenience is in top form this preparation, loves to roll along out in front with a high cruising speed and kicks on strongly. I've been aboard at every run this campaign and will continue to support him here. In hindsight dropping back from 1300m to 1000m was never going to be in his favour but then again the worst form of insight is hindsight. 1200m is his go and with only 57kg on his back and a lovely draw in barrier 3 I think he will either lead or sit outside speedster Ziva Star and prove very hard to catch. Chinetti is the equal favourite and 2 from 2 first up. I've gone with Lenience as he has the fitness edge and barrier advantage over Chinetti. Typically an on speed runner I'm just not quite sure where he will settle in running from the outside gate, should he get caught three wide the trip it will take a huge effort to win. Classy horse but has suffered cardiac Arrhythmia three times in his career now. Mendicity should get a lovely run midfield and she is close to another victory before heading to the breeding barn.
