Trading Day continues winning way
Trading Day looks perfectly placed to make it 6 wins in a row if you count his first across the line finish before Cool Trade was handed victory by the Stewards. Joey Azzopardi has returned to WA after his 5 month Victorian riding stint and showed his ability on Wednesday when guiding Scenic Grin to victory for the Durrant stable. Trading Day is ultimately headed towards the Railway Stakes and one thing you can be sure of is that 1400m is right up his alley. Thateldo steps up to 1400 for the first time in his career. Has never been to the races and not collected a cheque for connections, should get a beautiful run from barrier 2 and should extend his impressive record. The Corporation will improve as the distances increase, his first up run over an unsuitable journey was highly encouraging and he has genuine first 4 claims at around the $21 mark. Dominating was excellent first up when savaging the line over 1000m. Second up over 1200m raced flat and was fairly disappointing, gets a chance to bounce back here. Loves Belmont Park and excels on a Dead Track winning at 3 from 4 runs.

Now what about Wednesday? Priceless Cat (race 4) seems like it could be a goer. A really stupid bloody name for a horse but it might be something to look at.
