Drop in grade suits Deceleration
(5) DECELERATION almost caused a major boilover when resuming from a spell at Bunbury 28/12, hitting the front at the top of the straight and only getting overhauled in the shadows of the post as a $43 chance. Has always displayed his share of ability and that performance suggests he's ready to start making the most of it. We usually steer clear of horses on the quick back-up after big first-up efforts, but (5) DECELERATION still looks the obvious on-top selection in this. (12) SECURE THE SKY was very well supported in a competitive line-up at Albany 19/12 and finished third behind a couple of handy ones in Run Liam Run and Quality Fair. Distance is a query but should still give supporters a run for their money. (2) ALL TOO MUCH scored a narrow maiden win at Pinjarra 14/12 but was a shade disappointing when afforded every chance at Pinjarra 26/12. Looks very well placed in this, however, and he shouldn't miss a place. (13) BLIZZARD EXPRESS drops back in grade after finishing less than three lengths behind Catlantic in 70-plus company at Albany 26/12. Can't be discarded with only 52.5kg on his back.
