Soft Lead = Strong Finish
I think that Bayatorio can lead, dictate and win this. Last start effort when sitting midfield beaten 1.5 by Zester looks far superior form to many of these. Finished three quarters of a length behind New Time who brained them on Saturday and beat home Tower of Lonhro who was backed as if unbeatable and duly got the chocolates on a dark day for bookies. Following those form lines, carrying only 54kg for Jordan Turner I think he can find the fence and pull away for an all the way win. Has a handy Belmont Park record of 2 wins and a second from 4 starts and I think ticks enough boxes for mine. For a last start winner by 1.3 lengths I'm convinced that Brother Patrick is way over the odds at $16, 4 wins at a mile and only 56.5kg, ridiculous in my opinion. Drumnoorum was super behind Thunderclap Newman and will win one soon.
