Gave Fuchsia Bandana a massive wrap last start and was bitterly disappointed with the run, had some excuses but I genuinely believe she is better than that. Third-up at a mile with Jarrad Noske in the saddle I think she again looks the goods. For mine wins this and wins the Strickland over 2000m. Sticking to my guns and sticking with the Trade Fair 4 year old. The other 4 year old mare in Balmont Girl looms as the hardest to beat. Has an average first-up record but her second-up efforts to date have all been rippers. Second-up last campaign beat Black Heart Bart, Respondent, Mr Utopia and Bass Strait so she is more than capable. Bass Strait retains the services of Paul Harvey but has the dreaded addition of Bar Plates. Second-up last campaign he also beat Black Heart Bart, Respondent and Mr Utopia putting him right in this.

Yeah it's very sad news, backed it also, and thought at the top of the straight it might have snuck away with it. Very sad news!

Sorry to hear about that. The horse had been flying of late. My thoughts go out to the connections of the horse.
