R6. Fairetha Stakes - 1 January 1970

3 year old cracker
Disposition, unbeaten in 3; Outlaw Pete winner at 3 from 4; Tonto winner at 4 from 6; currently represent 1,2,3 in the WA Guineas betting market with Disposition a $4 favourite ahead of Outlaw Pete and Tonto on the second line of betting at $7.50. This really is a cracking line-up of 3 year olds and I think at the 1400m the race will be run primarily between Disposition and Outlaw Pete. I think Outlaw Pete and Tonto will settle together in running with Outlaw Pete's turn of foot superior to Tonto. Disposition will probably settle handier to the speed and set it up for an absolute cracking finish. I can't go past Outlaw Pete and have him on top, Harvey in the saddle, an electric finishing burst and highly talented horse. Disposition has done nothing wrong and beaten all comers to date, simply can't rule him out. Not a race I am prepared to punt in, rather watch this highly anticipated clash and watch my 3 horses go in the quaddie. Leonora Sensation capable type of rounding out the first 4.

Was annoyed that I missed getting on the quaddie as you often do, getting sidetracked on course, pretty easy after the first leg and paid nearly 10k.

I missed the $61 Octavius but I wasn't far from it plus handy novelties. Good to see others get a profitable result on the Pop Star.

Disposition the clear standout on the card, the riding on display today was ordinary at best.

I suppose when you look at it @mailman505 there was no incentive for EB to win prior to the weights being released for the Railway. Not a good look at all :-\" You know I actually thought this and ignored it! The only way she wins that race is if he tak...

Normally drawing the rails would be toxic for EB but today it was probably the difference between winning and losing. However, I still think she was a bit off her first up run.
