Eachway Delight
This is a super competitive race and most tipsters will be avoiding the question and refusing to make a clear judgement. I'll have a throw at the stumps and tip Dark Delight. Drawn perfectly in barrier 2 and well weighted after the claim for Jordan Turner, provided she handles the wet going should the predicted rain soak Belmont, then I think she can outclass most of these. Fast finishing third beaten less than a length Temporise, a gallant third in the Group 3 Latrice, 7 starts at Belmont for 3 wins and 2 minors and a perfect record at 1300m, at $13 I'm willing to stick my neck out. Raising Dubai is one I think can sprint well fresh. All career wins are beyond a mile but on a wet track I think he could bob up. Beat Pininci, Fuchsia Bandana and Modello in a sharp 950m trial and with $8 the place available I'm happy to throw him out as a blowout hope for quaddie players. Blue Palace gets another chance after a lacklustre first-up effort.

It's the old human error trick again...Surely some checks and balances can be done on these things before they happen ? Like how about somebody just having a quick glance at the official semaphore board and make sure it's showing the right numbers...can't be t...

This may sound unbelievable but is what actually happened. The judges misread the number on the horse that came third (the colours as well) confusing 5 and 15. They ended up declaring them both 3rd, despite Blue Palace finishing near the rear of the field. Oh ...
