Winner of the last 3 Listed Features Wink and a Nod is drawn perfectly in barrier 4, weighted perfectly with a mere 55.5kg and is sure to be ridden to absolute perfection by WA's glamour girl Lucy Warwick. The pair are a very attractive proposition and should be mighty hard to beat. Black Heart Bart is a star, no doubting that, but Wink and a Nod has the fitness on her side and will definitely push him all the way. Only 4 months break after a luckless Eastern States venture which included finishing a distant last in the Group 1 Stradbroke after tramping 7 and 8 wide for most of the journey. Thrilled to see the big fellow back in WA and he is obviously the testing material. Fuchsia Bandana was a moral beaten first-up in the Roma Cup last preparation behind Luckygray. A repeat performance sees her go very close. As for Hazzabeel, in my opinion "LAY, LAY, LAY!!"
