Not a race I'll be getting the wallet out for; unless of course it's my round at the bar. Pinzu was backed off the charts at his latest when a narrow but impressive winner at Bunbury. He will jump with one leg in the Swan River and will likely get back from the awkward gate. Unlikely to be afforded any favours in running I wouldn't be laying into the $2.20 but I have no doubt many punters will. Throwing up a couple at odds in the hope they can blow the quaddie open nice and early. Theorize is a Snitzel filly who will carry a mere 52kg after the claim for Jake Casey and is very capable of turning the tables on the much more fancied opponent War Blossom. Jake Casey shouldn't have to spend a single dollar for the entire race, much like a certain mate of mine (Liam). I think the $15 is about right for a maiden galloper but well worth including in the quaddie. Rhino's Lad is another at the $15 quote who I think can play a part. Only finished 2.5 lengths behind Universal Law in Saturday grade finishing in between a pretty talented pair in Pushin' Shapes and Military Reign. Going pretty wide in the opening quaddie leg.

Met with the MD of an asx listed apartment developer on Monday. Even if you offer them the best site in Perth they would decline. "just cant sell the stock" were the words used.

25,000 if correct is a catastrophe. From memory, demand had the market bouncing around 9,000 dwellings, high demand was anything less than that, but 14-16,000 was a glut. So if 25,000 is correct then that is the worst possible environment to talk about a major...

That is nothing but a story from a developer, it does not reflect the 14,500 dwellings currently listed with agents. There are apartments all around Belmont at every point of the compass and within two km's of the track that are struggling to sell. Some have ...

Can't see it happening due to an ever declining residential real estate market. Been saying this for two years and it is only getting worse.
