It seems that every Cerise and White horse who is tipped out for a spell comes back bigger and better with atleast 2-3 lengths more in the tank than the previous preparation. We've seen it time and time again where handy horses have gone out and then come back as potential stars. Silverstream, Illuminated, Mississippian, Regal Commander and Star Exhibit just to name a few. Celebrity Dream was excellent in her first two career victories coming from midfield and showing a powerful turn of foot. If she has improved over the break then she'll be mighty hard to roll here. Marchand has been incredibly unlucky at about his past 3 runs and may well jump 'overs' because of that fact. His runs have been far better than they read on paper and you can't dismiss him. Another who has impressed is De Andes. Carries only 51kg and two starts back in the Pinjarra Classic was beaten under 2 lengths by First Among Equals and Red Ora, beating home both Cool Trade and Wink and a Nod. If it wasn't for speed demon Long Knife likely to pester him out in front I'd definitely have him on top as a punting proposition.

possibly... or another obvious point I'm sure we can all relate to without being vets or scientists, is that they're simply not matured and developed enough to be competing in those high class races being ran into the ground? and while speaking of gr...

This talk of 2yo's not coming back as 3yo's, are you sure we can't put it down to there only being a handful of 2yo's that are actually competitive so they win by default rather than being a top class horse i.e small fish in big pond. Obviously the older they ...

stud value would be enormous but realistically if you win the KK and Sires your a one in a million chance to come back and be competitive as a 3yodunno about that stats but the proof is there as to how many half decent 2yo runners ...

There is no stud value in a KK winning entire. In fact the entire idea of a non-descript race making a stallion prospect is laughable. A KK winning mare producing yearlings offered for sale in WA has some value, but in most markets this is heavily discounted b...

the Karrakatta seems the graveyard of horses...have a look at the last few years, like I did today in the racebook...lucky street is the exception but not really proved as yet. racing as a 2yo in general falc, if you've got one good enough to be competitive...

Just wanting to send out a search party for Dungy? I hope he has been following his foolproof plan of laying Miller 2yo's. Bloke is a star trainer, statistics and data back that up. 5 qualified horses for the KK plate, and the best 2yo he has didn't even get t...
