Favourite and a Roughie for a cheeky quinella
Zarantz has given rivals a galloping lesson since finally breaking his maiden tag and has put together back to back 3.5 length victories including a dominant 2000m win at Pinjarra. Lucy Warwick, WA's inform apprentice has jumped off her dad's horse This Cat Rocks as well as Brett Pope's emerging stayer Quintessence. Warwick has been the winning rider on Quintessence at her past two starts in midweek company but elected to jump ship and join team Smith aboard Zarantz. Zarantz does look as though he will progress through the grades with Turf Talker Dale hinting at the fact he wants $1000 on and wouldn't mind a price thrown at him for the Perth Cup...on face value I'd normally say calm down Dale but last year Ora Dare won this race to make it three in a row and has since booked a place in the 2015 Perth Cup so maybe he is onto something. I'm happy to go with the short priced public elect and put my faith in Lucy. For second and a cheeky little Razor style quinella I've settled on Accrual. Up in the markets at 50-1 but I genuinely think he is worth an eachway ticket and will be throwing most likely a blue coloured note at the boys at PUNTA on track on Saturday. Has beaten Operational over 2100m and finished within a 1.5 lengths of horse like Celebrity Miss and Comfysofa. Hard to catch but worth a throw at the stumps. If Crystal Gardens runs, unlikely but possible, then I wouldn't leave her out of a quaddie. Heart Show is dropping in grade relative to her last start and is a lovely price considering her recent form.

Ok I'll have a crack at my quinellas as always and Im trying a new strategy, your top 2 roving bankers in the trifecta with the field. Made $1000 in the last 4 weeks on the preview so happy days
