R5. Tabtouch Supporting Wa Racing Handicap - 1 January 1970

Class to Show
I'm fairly keen here on Hobart Jones second-up. His first-up effort behind Recode was excellent, Hill was looking for a clear run at them the entire straight and simply couldn't get a decent path. After easing from heels at the 150 he quickly picked up again and was unlucky not to nab third place. I think second-up here he is perfectly placed at 1200m and should make his presence felt. Woolibar has come of age recently and he is a definite danger. O'Donnell jumping off Thunderclap Newman says something about the ability of Woolibar. Petrol Power always runs an honest race and should be there abouts.
