Spring must just about be in the air as a few of our better horses start returning to the track. One of those is Rose Of Choice, a very good performer in the mares series of races last summer. She has been produced in trials twice so should have a reasonable level of fitness for her first up assignment here. The draw is a little worry, the first up form is very good, but she does ooze class so we will tip her to make a winning return today. Thateldo was very dissapointing last start, he does get a mention in the stewards report but not sure all the punters that hopped on that day will be comforted by that. However we will forgive one aberration and go on his previous form, and also his 1200 metre form and he should be well in this race on those previous efforts. Comfysofa has run some good races in strong company in the past, he does have to contend with a lot more weight today but we know he does have more than his share of ability, wouldnt surprise to see him go very close also. Son Of Something returns today, he is unbeaten first up and will no doubt improve as the distances increase.
