R5. Singapore Turf Club Trophy - 1 January 1970

Famous Someday & Count Kala
Forgiving the last start effort of Famous Someday and tipping him on his first-up victory at Pinjarra, which was highly impressive. Looks very well placed here in this mid-week grader and from a solid draw can prove the testing material. Was very well commissioned second-up before flopping but if you forgive that run then he is right in the mix. Throwing up some value for second in Count Kala. To my eyes there is a genuine lack of pace in the race and I think Parnham will be proactive and send the daughter of Danehill Express straight to the front. From there she makes her own luck and can definitely run a cheeky race at juicy odds. Fermentation was probably lucky in the fact she raced on a swoopers dominated track. I think back to a potentially leader-bias surface and she might find the 1200m a bit short for her liking. Happy to risk the likely favourite and put two ahead of her.

I find the info on the Racenet site under results. Shows if a horse was offered at a sale or not. If so, it mentions how much and what sale it was sold at. Probably not always 100% correct but close enough.
