Bob Peters Import of quality gallopers and Export of even better ones once they've reached the pinnacle of WA racing continues to astound on lookers. 3 year old New Zealand filly Dezzies Dream was ultra impressive at her WA debut win, Queenslander Point got the money on Wednesday at his second WA start and likewise Romelo looks very hard to beat here second-up in the country. He was a major unknown first-up at a mile and savaged the line with a brilliant burst late from well back in the field. Steps straight up into a 2100m event and looks a big, strong, genuine staying type who will relish the distance and bullock his way through the grades rapidly. Toppa Dawozza was desperately unlucky last start not to have finished in the money with Troy Turner unable to find clear running at crucial stages aboard a grinding type who needs every ounce of momentum. Sticking with him here because I am convinced he will win one sooner rather than later. Our Mate Al looks like he is in for a profitable winter and gets up to a genuine trip for the first time this preparation. Saxapack came from the same race as Romelo and is an honest type worthy of inclusion.

CJP deserves 6 weeks for his ride over the last 20m. Ride it to the line mate.
