Fred Kersley is a genius, no doubting that and his efforts to get North Ridge so close in the Dayana was nothing short of outstanding. Over a month between runs and stepping up in journey from 1400 to 2000 the son of Danehill Express settled last and then Lucy slowly worked her way forwards three deep from about the 1000 and then peaked on the run late to finish a half-length back in third. With fitness improvement and being allowed to settle midfield in running he will be mighty hard to hold out. Don't think anyone can really argue that Dark Musket should have won the Dayana, O'Donnell was climbing all over them and had to hit the brakes harder than an elderly driver on a wet day. Continuously held up once he saw daylight he was pinging and he looks the main danger. Fo' Shizzle was super in the Oaks, Jordan Turner will roll along out in front and if left unattended should look the winner as they sweep the bend.

I sat on my all ups after my initial winner. Was never a fan of Miki Two Shoes but god bless it today.
