I found it incredibly hard to split New Time and Proceedwithcaution, in the end a 1.5kg weight advantage saw me settle on Proceedwithcaution. Has won 3 from 5 at Belmont Park, loves 1400m and has won fresh from a let-up before. Renee Forrest may put some punters off and does seem an interesting riding engagement but she rode him in the trial where he put Smoko to the sword with ease and I'm happy enough to put my faith in her. New Time ran a cracker over 1200m which is definitely on the shorter side for him in the Listed Newmarket behind Wink and a Nod and Cool Trade. Back up to his pet distance of 1400m he will be hard to hold out. Wroughted is extremely well weighted after a lacklustre performance second-up. Early quaddie: 1,2 / 2 / 1 / 1,3,4,6,7 - $50 = 500%
