Another 2 horser
In my opinion this is a slightly harder race but still ultimately another 2 horser. Absolutely no love again for Lucky Street, this maps a whole lot better for him but I think up against the older gallopers he has his back to the wall yet again and I'll be quoting the preview from his last run "Lay, Lay, Lay". Malibu Style is one I have a lot of time for, the Magnus Stock fly over the short course and he is 5 starts for 3 wins over the trip. Should get a head start on the obvious danger Silverstream and that's the reason I'm going with him. Silverstream is a favourite of mine but if she was to settle last, conceeding a horse like Malibu Style say 2 or 3 lengths I have my doubts whether she can pick him up. They will be the only 2 in the last leg of the early quaddie. Fuld's Bet should be right up on pace and Miller normally has his sprinters 'humming' first-up. Early Quaddie: 1,5,6 / 2 / 1,5 / 4,8 - $60 = 500%

One thing I've noticed is that Bob had left his old Ksar/Old Spice families behind, something not many would have the balls to do given how succesful they were. Apart from Disposition, I'd reckon not many of his top performers come from that lineage. Might ...

one big stable monopolising like that cannot be good for the sport. I dont know in what other industry that domination by one big player is healthy for the industry as a whole? Despite bob's dominance again yesterday, it was good to see a couple of battle...

One of the rules that Bob and others leaders in the car industry instilled into me, was that if you always do what you have always done, you will only get what you have always got. He doesn't get it always right, he is on a remarkable run of success at the mom...

How many folks will leave the Industry though in the meantime ? I wont leave the industry per say, but i wont be adding anymore horses in the meantime. As i said last week, there is no point. He is winning everything and me with a fixed budget cant compete....

Ol Peters is just killing it and I cannot see Pike riding anything else in Perth Cup. We keep backing against Peters but he is killing it Illuminated

I hope Peters' absolutely dominates for a while. Will force a purge of some of the absolute tripe that breeds here. Spot on
