Today is the day for Outlaw Pete. His last two runs have been absolutely sensational, settling well off the speed on heavily leader bias days and reeling off phenomenal sections to finish on the heels of the money earners. Obviously there is nothing to suggest that Saturday won't be yet another leader dominated day, however, I'm willing to have a throw at the stumps and say that today is the day that Outlaw Pete breaks through for a deserved victory. Meets Muskets At Dawn 2kg better and on a fairer track could give that galloper windburn. Praying to the racing Gods for a genuine surface which should see Outlaw Pete one of the best bets on the card. Muskets At Dawn the obvious danger considering the 3-4 length head start he will get on Outlaw Pete with the lightly weighted Saker in for third.
