Saxy and 2 at odds

Saxy Grace's last furlong behind Andi's Boy was pheonmenal, she was flying and most firmly believe she should have simply won the race, however, that's the kind of horse she is. She will most likely be under the whip before the home corner and then find top gear only moments before the winning post. The question is, will she be within striking distance? I can't back her at $2.30 but tipping her as the on top selection is a no brainer after that barnstorming finish. Throwing up two at odds to fill the minos in On The Ropes and Shooting Iron. On The Ropes at 2100m is a mystery but Fred Kersley has thrown Peter Hall on so expect a bold showing. As the rain falls he will be looking better and better with all 3 career wins on rain affected tracks. Shooting Iron is down from Geraldton after scoring an effortless last to first win carrying 60.5, he can measure up.

It's the old human error trick again...Surely some checks and balances can be done on these things before they happen ? Like how about somebody just having a quick glance at the official semaphore board and make sure it's showing the right numbers...can't be t...

This may sound unbelievable but is what actually happened. The judges misread the number on the horse that came third (the colours as well) confusing 5 and 15. They ended up declaring them both 3rd, despite Blue Palace finishing near the rear of the field. Oh ...
