Not Getting Any Easier
Putting former Eastern States sprinter Stravigo on top in a very evenly graded 1000m dash for cash. Draws barrier 1 and Glenn Smith can elect either to lead or box seat. If he can recapture his Randwick and Warwick Farm 3 year old form then he will go very close here. Was forced back to the tail of the field after drawing barrier 10 last start and will certainly appreciate being ridden more positively from the attractive alley. Travellin' looks a genuine danger returning first-up, his form around the likes of Rule To Wyn, Military Reign and Cool Passion are definitely good enough to win this. Stablemate Juendis was scratched from a winnable Wednesday assignment to be saved for this. May find 1000m a bit sharp from the outside and I am willing to look beyond the pre-post favourite. Cherie Amour is running in arguably career best form and the 7 year old mare continues to accumulate prizemoney. Finished third behind Audience in Saturday grade last start and is drawn to enjoy another economical run. Stable Secret finished 1 length ahead of Stravigo a fortnight ago but with the barrier draws I suggest Stravigo can turn the tables on him.

They have tried the cutaway, changing when barriers are drawn and now instead of having a 7 race card they are trying throwing a 4UP maiden as the 1st race. Hopefully this helps. Early days yet - there was 5 1/2 lengths between 2nd and 3rd - how long will own...

Sad state of affairs, saturday race day and only a few comments. Has everyone had enough of the bull$hit?? Hard to get excited when you start with a maiden, followed by a 2 horse race and not much better after that :-S
