He or She another chance

He or She returned from a spell first-up without the benefit of a trial and was dropped into a leader bias Ascot track and ridden upside down. Expecting him to settle midfield here and 1400m looks ideal. I'm happy enough to give him another chance having gone around as a $2.30 favourite in the Listed Raconteur stakes only beaten 1.3 by Testamezzo. Going for some value for second, Already Famous at around the $41 mark, raced in top 3 year old company and far from disgraced, should settle up on speed behind the likes of Danaura, Big Red's Back and Macrawfys Hope and get a lovely tow into the race. Only 1.8 lengths behind Tick Tick Bloom in the Belmont Guineas and 5 lengths fourth to Proceedwithcaution in the Dayana Plate worth a place ticket at 15s. Real Charm, full sister to Mystic Prince will improve as the distances increase. Encouraging run over 1200m first-up, Durrant-Harvey is an attractive combination on any galloper.

Interesting that he stayed off the rail majority of the race therefore not needing to shift out on the turn. This when the inside was gold all day and Delicacy absolutely hammered on betfair before jump! Hall said in the post race interview he could see the...

Pike was using the whip in his right hand just as Hall was taking what looked to be a narrow gap on the inside. If he's trying to give the stable mate room surely he wouldn't be encouraging it to roll in?

From the stewards Stewards to consider all the evidence and also to review betting records Delicacy's odds near enough halved just before the jump. Work with that stewards!

Well Pike sure wasn't looking around so if there is anything suss it certainly didn't look that way. Although as @legless suggested, the front on camera angle may reveal something else. Silverstream faded out of the race badly. I wouldn't be surprised if he hu...
