Foxing just behind the speed
Foxalicious has always shown a deal of ability, winning on debut as a 2 year old over Balmont Girl at $1.50. Has dealt with a change of stable and a number of minor hoof and leg issues but father-son duo Ross and Clint price have her fit and healthy now and she should be ready to snatch a Saturday victory after an impressive return to racing from a freshen up in midweek company. Ran third within 2 lengths of Cool Trade before being given a let up and then came from the back of the field to defeat Cherie Amour, Satellite City and Strictly Boardroom. William Pike who has ridden Big Jack, Kheleva and Diversicolor previously has stuck with Foxalicious and should get a lovely run throughout from barrier 2 carrying only 55kg. Is a very versatile type who can settle on speed or midfield and with the likes of Benito and Lenience going forward should be settled perfectly in behind them ready to pounce. Benito will lead them from barrier 1 and is sure to be kicking strongly again at the finish. Lenience is the class galloper of the field and with Chris Parnham's claim carries 58.5 a very competitive weight. Should he drift in the market and go round at double figures that's very good eachway value. Crystal Gardens is suited over further and will probably find the 1000m a touch sharp first-up but will be hitting the line hard.
