Still shaking my head after Secret Nova's last run where Jerry Noske elected to settle towards the back of the field and try to weave a passage through traffic Willie Pike style rather than easing to the outside and then flashed home when it was all over. 1200m is her go for mine and from barrier 7 I hope Jake Casey pushes forwards and settles outside and probably a length or two behind fleet footed flyer Shostakovich, from there she should get a lovely run and I think prove too strong. Red Ora is so awkward to place now for trainer Dan Morton, he has to weigh up either carrying a managable weight in a race which is too tough or an unmanagable weight in a winnable race. Returning to 3 year old grade here he must carry the full 60kg and I just think will struggle to pick up Secret Nova over the concluding stages with her distinct weight advantage. Mr Motown only carries 53.5kg and Lucy Warwick is unstoppable.
