R3. Westspeed 3yo Handicap - 1 January 1970

Settler's Hat-trick
Happy enough to be aboard Settler's Creek as he returns to 3 year old grade. Proven against the older horses when accounting for some more than handy types including Windswept, Dark Delight and Tick Tick Bloom. With the claim of Jerry Noske looks well palced carrying 58.5kg and should get a lovely soft run from barrier 2. Belle La Vie is a genuine danger, winner of her past 3 she will attack the line strongly. Drops 4.5kg on her last start victory over Mr Mankini and with Lucy Warwick riding in style is the obvious second choice. Mr Mankini will roll forward along with Fathing Fast and be the one to catch. Klondike King conceeds Hellyer 4kg at the weights and I'm happy enough to take him on.
