I Decree Pike is King
Darren McAuliffe has a knack of getting runners up and firing on debut and with the King of the Turf William Pike in the saddle I think the 3 year old Universal Ruler filly can give the stable an early winner. Trial effort was sharp and Pike could would be captain of Quidditch at Hogwarts the way he is riding. I Do De Claire was a solid second-up winner at Northam safely accounting for Kentucky Lass and should be right there side by side with Peggies Maree as they were at Northam first-up. Beyond those 3 the Luciani Pair in Snack Pack and Airlie Sun have place hopes, leaning towards Snack Pack as Airlie Sun will likely find the 1100 a bit short for his liking. PerthTurfTalk horse Essayez returns to the metro area after a horrid effort at York, can she improve? We all hope so.

Concern expressed about the firmness of the track on Super Saturday....don't know a whole lot about it but terms like "concrete" used and, it seemed to me, justifiable concern about soreness, jarring up etc. Well both Watermans and Magnificio backed up okay al...

Good work Darkhorse. Refreshing to read a positive comment about Ascot. I haven't been out there for a short while but will get out there in the very near future when time of work presents me with the opportunity.

LW is a great "sit and steer" hoop. IMHO the best in this state. If she's on the best handicapped ( under our current pathetic system) horse in a race most times she will get it home.Doesn't seem to shine as much in competitive races when the pressure is on an...

Best for me also is Watermans Bay. Best each way Ive had a crack at Ripper Red in the last at $12. Found every bit of trouble possible last start and it is hard not to be seduced after watching the replay a few times. Main multi : Stocks PLACE into W...
