Step Right Up O'Donnell
I'm throwing up a roughie in race 3 and genuinely believe that Step Right Up can give this race a shake at eachway odds. He may have only won 1 race from 28 starts but they have all been in predominately Saturday grade and this is a midweek field, at best. If he can't beat these types then he should be relegated to Midweekers for the rest of his career, if not shipped off to the country. So with Shaun O'Donnell on board I'm happy to speck him at odds and put him on top on a places bias basis. Dark Alert has the Pike and the Cerise and White so must be respected but his first up effort behind Happy With Kendal was only fair at best. Stocks has won 3 on the bounce and I'm surprised that he isn't favourite after holding out Bomber Bay with ease on Cup Day.

nothing lost in that engagement you'd think understatement or just being kind? :) Lucy was always going to end up on JT's, I think the booking of Lane is much more of a significant advantage to have him on other than any other of the locals... Pike to ...

Still in at 53kgs though - will they let him get away with robbery like he did on Saturday?Not a lot of ES raiders to make it a genuine run race - a standard Perth sit and sprint maybe :-?
