Lightning set to strike

Selections

We were taken with the debut performance of (2) LIGHTNING POINT at Albany 8/01 when running on to finish fourth after being among the back-markers in running, and the step up to 1500 metres here should suit perfectly. 21 days between runs, a good barrier, and the booking of experienced rider Daniel Staeck all increase his winning chances. (5) AND SO AM I displayed what he is capable of second-up at Bunbury 15/01, when leading them up over 1400 metres and kicking on well in the straight to finish second. These two look standouts for the quinella. We?ve thrown (13) MISS CHILLY FILLY into the mix with her inside barrier draw and Jason Whiting on board. She will be fitter second-up and should appreciate competing in the Great Southern, and (7) YOU RING HIM has had a heap of chances but is capable of running on and finishing in the first four.

From a spectacle point of view its a shocking viewing experience. What does that mean, no different to Geraldton, Port Augusta, Ballina, not really any different Yes I agree with those as well. This is 2015 not 1950

For the most part it is very ordinary racing down there.
