Pontiff only horse
Full Steam Ahead can only be described as a Pontiff only horse. He has really struggled with apprentice Brayden Gaerth and even regular 'home' hoop Andrew Masters aboard. With Paul Harvey back from injury and returning in style at Pinjarra finishing second in race 1 and winning race 2 we can expect vast improvement from the monster Trade Fair gelding. Meets Trade down 3kg better at the weights from their July 12 meeting and has been supported in the market at his past two starts he has let punters down but dropping back to a mile and with WA's best heavy weight aboard I'm happy to be on here. Young Lionel is the weight horse of the race, meeting Paseo Del Prado 2kg better at the scales having been beaten a half head on August 2nd and meets Trade Down 2.5kg better off from their previous race. Steps back up to a mile and his last victory was over 1600m with Pike aboard albeit almost 18 months ago. Trade Down is in scintillating form this preparation and potentially headed towards a Railway Stakes, looks suited over a mile but unsuited by both barrier 1 and the weight swings against him. Should be finishing in the money but again barrier 1 is my major concern. I'll have an eachway nibble at WA's biggest boy Full Steam Ahead.

Ok I'll have a crack at my quinellas as always and Im trying a new strategy, your top 2 roving bankers in the trifecta with the field. Made $1000 in the last 4 weeks on the preview so happy days
