Rhi's Rocket was speced at odds to knock off boom Casey galloper Vega Magic and really poured the pressure on throughout before fading into third beaten just over 2 lengths. Should find the front easily here in a small field and from there dictates and probably wins. Thinking the former NSW gelding will be pretty short in the market but obviously hard to beat. Viking Forrest was a drifter first-up and missed the kick before getting all the runs and scoring a narrow but impressive victory. He rises 2kg on that run and it did look as if Diamond Tonique potentially had him covered had he got clear galloping room. Willing to forgive the run and say that Diamond Tonique will turn the tables on the more favoured Viking Forrest. Dreamtime Dancer is a galloper I have a big opinion of but will probably need further than the 1100m. Hoping to jump aboard second-up after an encouraging first-up display.

I remember seeing Zac Purton replying to a question on twitter about riding here-it may have been about Magic Millions. He said because there are no Gr1s he wouldnt be able to get permission from the hkjc. I assume that is standard policy.

yes they're certainly very wealthy men..... like top tennis players, they zig-zag the world and make mega bucks,......BUT, riding against OUR best? does not bear thinking about. like me getting out on a court with Roger Federer..... 8-X

I had no idea TRKOn another thread somewhere way back when - forumites were throwing ideas around on ways of making Perth Racing a better product.I never posted it but my thoughts at the time were why don't PR try and get a couple of these here each week.Say -...

Havent included Purton, Prebble or Callan ( dont know what State they call home) If you're going to call Whyte a HK native then it's safe to assume Prebble(born in VIC) is too-he's been there since 2002. Purton(born in Lismore, rode in QLD, then NSW) has n...
