Hard to tip against the undefeated Taylor gelding Recoiled however, I think there is enough talent and depth to this field, coulpled with a minor question mark over 1200m to suggest he is not a betting proposition. I won't be playing in the race because I would expect Recoiled to open around the $1.90 mark and that's way too short for mine. Universal Law, half brother to Delicacy, has a sharp turn of foot and looks well weighted after the claim for Randy Tan. Brisanto was hunted hard coming round the corner when Corvara dropped them off but kept finding late to record a gritty win and then Peggie's Maree is on the right end of a weight swing as well as relishing an extra furlong to unwind. I'm tipping Recoiled on top but wouldn't be at all surprised to see the bubble burst and would suggest to early quaddie players to play this leg with caution rather than stand out the favourite.
