Lord of the Place
In a race where 7 of the 9 hoops are apprentices I'm jumping aboard the King of the Place in Lord Balthazar. A 1000m specialist who always settles too far back in running, savages the line and never quite makes it in time. Step him up to 1100m which seems logical and he can't run out the trip. Form beaten less than a length Jack 'N' Sam, Marchand and Jest Envy Her puts him right in this. First up run where he stuggled to get into clear running from barrier 1 behind Bangkok Express was excellent and his second-up form inclues one of his two career wins. With Oosterman, Park Lane, Pru's Image and Cherie Amour all capable of putting on a fireworks display he should add to his 51% places strike rate here. Park Lane is better than most of these when right and the run beaten 2 lengths Travinator was better than it reads. Kyleena never puts a foot wrong and is well weighted after the 3kg claim for Casey.

Saxy Grace - A campaign of very ordinary rides and tactics but at long last we keep her off the fence and actually give her every opportunity to win the race You sound like mailman with a dictionary.
