These staying races produce the same horses week in week out and somehow manage to find a different winner. I have no doubt they have a quick chat behind the barriers and decide who will walk to victory this week and we can expect another farcical WA sit and sprint. Verdello Blue should roll to the lead and with W.Pike in the saddle I think he is by far the best value. In a similar fashion to Demuro last week Pike should control from the front and from there the race is in his hands. Dubai Escapade hardest to beat, consistent type who got too far back last start. Young Lionel is flying this preparation and looks poised for a genuine crack at the Kal Cup.

yeah I did that (I think you gave me that tip once before).Thought i was pretty smart, but couldnt find a margin.My eyes are not that good these days tho

by golly that photo finish on pr of race 4 looks like a dead heat to me... I've seen closer.....there is a very clear margin for the inside horse.Edit....It was very close....probably 1 pixel. I've put a photo here that can be enlarged if you click on...
