Here we see the return of the highly talented filly in Hot Goods, undefeated in her 5 career starts and looks set to take care of these gallopers with ease to make it 6 from 6. Trialled super impressively under double wraps by Lucy in good time, with only the Fred Kersly trained Lite'n In My Veins running a quicker time on the day. From barrier 4 Lucy should take her straight to the front where she will dictate terms, kick away and win under a firm hold. The only slight concern is carrying 58.5kg for the first time, but I don't think that will worry her at all and she just wins. I was quite impressed with the run of It's Dynamite behind Rhi's Rocket, who I have a very high opinion of, and with pike jumping on board it looks to be a good place bet if the favourite is too short for your liking. Le Petron was a good fast finishing last start victory running over the top of brisanto and castle queen but may find trouble from barrier 1. Of the others I think we will see a much better run from I Do De Claire who looks to be solely a 100m horse. But they will all be running to fill up the minor placings behind this hot filly.

I would have suggested Spangled Impact, but even her times were not fantastic looking towards a Karrakatta Plate. She would want to improve considerably. 2YO's need to be running low 1.05's over 1100M to be considered a threat in a KK. 1.07 on a track rate...

Well that's the reason I ask in the first place. But most years, the eventual good 2YO's and thereafter, haven't emerged by this time.

if its the best so far.. who is going to be the threat then Damien? I think Trademark might come on after its win a few weeks back.

agree regarding Spangled Impact. Maybe we haven't seen the best 2yo's come out to play yet?

In the 2YO race, they didn't break the minute, and the last 600M wasn't particularly fast either. So could any of the smarter types on here let me know if any 2YO's so far this season have impressed, or are they at this stage just a bit pedestrian ? I just kee...
