Marchand gets his chance today after two good runs this campaign to return to the winners list. He should settle in a nice spot from the rails draw, possibly behind Marmaa and be given every chance to win another race here. His two starts this time in have resulted in placings behind the speedy Our Pu Bear and Jest Envy Her, and at his third start back he looms as a very good winning chance this afternoon. The danger looks to be the Simon Miller trained High Limit who returns today after a lengthy spell, he was in excellent form last time in, and does have first up form to recommend him, they do look the best two chances in this second race, maybe the fact that Marchand is now race fit sways me that way. Satellite City is also a chance, possibly had excuses his last two starts, the stable and jockey are both in terrific form at present as well, and Sovereign Debt is a consistent type who finds it hard to win but is always a novelty chance in any race he contests.
