Match Race
Would love to see 5 scratchings and have a 1v1 match race between Dainty Tess and Sweet Ora because I do believe these are two of the best 3 year olds going round at the minute and will be the two fighting out the finish of this 1000m sprint. Dainty Tess has won 5 of her 9 starts and looks on paper as though she will enjoy a very soft lead. From there Jordan Turner controls the tempo and will be incredibly tough to get past. Sweet Ora is a filly who I have a lot of time for and if this race was over 1200m I would be confidently in her camp, however, it's only 1000m and Dainty Tess is a proven short course specialist. Those two will dominate the market and should dominate the race between themselves. Next Generation has 1 win from 8 starts with 4 minors to his name and resumes off a 2 month freshen up. From barrier 1 he probably runs third. Magic Opus was promising on debut behind Invincible Mode who flopped badly at Pinjarra at $1.40 on Thursday. The cheeky first 4 of: 1,3 / 1,3 / 2 / 6 looks quite appealing.

They have tried the cutaway, changing when barriers are drawn and now instead of having a 7 race card they are trying throwing a 4UP maiden as the 1st race. Hopefully this helps. Early days yet - there was 5 1/2 lengths between 2nd and 3rd - how long will own...
