This is quite a competitive race with about five or six winning chances and we have settled on (5) CHENGDU are our on-top selection following his gutsy fourth at Albany 27/11, when finishing alongside subsequent Mount Barker 5/12 winner Master Gold. (5) CHENGDU did plenty of work chasing a hot speed from a wide barrier on that occasion and did a big job to fight on under pressure in the straight. Looks suited dropping back in distance also. (2) DONGJIE WU was well supported first-up at Mount Barker 5/12 and ran on well in the straight for a closing second. Will have to slide back in the field from his outside barrier but we expect him to finish off and play a part in the finish. (3) CARBURETOR will strip fitter after peaking on his run late first-up at Albany 27/11 and he doesn't know how to run a bad race. Addition of Shaun McGruddy also helps his chances, and (1) SLOANNES PONY showed promise when last in work and placed first-up here over this trip this time last year.

Yuck. Great ride by Whiting on Zipabout though.

She Bares All gets in well here. Expected around $2.5-$3. Currently around $5 fixed and I can't let it go by.
