Sujet was highly impressive last start when racing three wide without cover the entire journey from start to finish. Jumps from barrier 1 here and meets Crown Lawyer 1kg better at the weights from their previous encounter. Steps up to 1400m which the Simon Miller camp have always suggested would be his ideal trip. If he can get off the fence as they round the home corner and get moving he should be able to chase down the leaders and record a 3rd victory from 6 starts. Stagnite from the Sharon Miller camp is undefeated after 3 starts with victories at 1000, 1200 and 1400m culminating in a Breeders Classic victory over highly talented gelding Testamezzo. William Pike remains in the saddle and the warm-up trial was electric. Minor question mark is resuming first up over 1400m but winning form is good form and he is yet to see a set of heels at the winning post. Crown Lawyer is a tough, grinding, onspeed galloper with a lot of ability. Will look the winner at the top of the straight and should again be finishing in the money. Those three should be running the trifecta between them.
