Hard to ignore a Furious Dame
Admittedly I do find it hard to ignore a Furious Dame, which is why I backed My Ambivalent in the Cup, I like a fiery filly who will jump the gates and give a bold front running display and it was hard to miss the effort of Furious Dame when she destroyed rivals, albeit in a Northam Maiden, when winning at a very surprising $2.80 with most expecting a quote well into the red. Drawn perfectly in barrier 1 she will lead and ensure it's a genuinely run race. Pike and Silver Magic Ships is the obvious danger, perfectly weighted with only 57kg considering she went around as favourite in the Listed Burgess Queen Stakes when racing 3 wide throughout and fading to only beat one home. She will be charging late and is the obvious danger and second leg of a highly popular short-priced quinella. Happy to be on Hold Your Tongue for third and to finish in the money. Effort with a huge weight was excellent last start and around $3 to place looks very good shopping to me. Keen on all 3.

Was annoyed that I missed getting on the quaddie as you often do, getting sidetracked on course, pretty easy after the first leg and paid nearly 10k.

I missed the $61 Octavius but I wasn't far from it plus handy novelties. Good to see others get a profitable result on the Pop Star.

Disposition the clear standout on the card, the riding on display today was ordinary at best.

I suppose when you look at it @mailman505 there was no incentive for EB to win prior to the weights being released for the Railway. Not a good look at all :-\" You know I actually thought this and ignored it! The only way she wins that race is if he tak...

Normally drawing the rails would be toxic for EB but today it was probably the difference between winning and losing. However, I still think she was a bit off her first up run.
