First of the Lonhro's
Tower of Lonhro was excellent winning the Grandstand Cup over 1500, was something beaten behind Proceedwithcaution in the York Stakes after settling last behind a farcical tempo and then was never going to be suited dropping back to 1400. Steps out beyond a mile for only the second time under Adam Durrant and I'm more than happy to put him on top. Will settle towards the rear but Peter Hall gets the best out of this gelding and regardless of a potential leader bias and being forced to carry 59kg I think this should suit him down to the ground. Near enough to even money the place being only a 6 horse field he should be within striking distance as they swing the bend. Ram Jam is a model of consistency and had a strangle hold over the York Cup before being scratched with a hoof abscess, is the danger. Ask Me Nicely drops back from 3200m but is always around the mark.
