A midweek staying event on a Saturday, something you'll need to get used to seeing throughout the Perth Winter. Miss Gelana is a stayer on the rise and this should be run to suit her. With Muskets At Dawn, Canyousee Me Smile and Saxon Saxoff all fighting for the lead throughout the race I think Lucy Warwick can be smoking the pipe and waiting to pounce as they hit the 600m mark and should run away for another soft victory. Banana Boy is second-up at 2200m but if anyone can do it it's Adam Durrant, he will be grinding away. Oratism should be suited by the hot top end speed as should stablemate Savanarola.
