Can't imagine many overly keen to have a bet in the opening event. A grinders mile with a total of 29 starts for 0 wins from the 6 runners engaged. I was most impressed with the Aussie Battler effort of Express Me first-up over a mile when narrowly edged out by Juicing Carrots. He should derive a tonne of improvement and fitness from that start and I think if Turner can find the front then they probably wont get past him. Happy enough to play in a Belmont version of a York maiden. W.Pike is on Major Mambo which makes him a major threat and Esperanca is better than we've seen.
