A small field to contest the first race this afternoon, the major chances appear to be the saddlecloths 1 to 3. Hard to seperate Big Caroline, Hold Your Tongue and the unbeaten Leonorasensation but will go with Big Caroline if forced into an outright selection. This filly certainly has returned in terrific form this campaign, she followed up a very good victory on Aug 25 with another nice run when second to Leonorasensation at her last start. The rise to 1400 metres appears to suit her, and she meets her conquerer from last start 1.5kgs better on weights which may be a factor in reversing the last result. Hold Your Tongue looks right in this race on the back of a very good run behind a good one in Jezpark last week, will barrier eight be a problem is one question to be posed, and will he back up last weeks run with a similar effort is another. Leonorasensation has obviously done nothing wrong and is also right in this race as he puts his unbeaten record on the line. Of the others possibly Solar Rule may run a useful race first up from the McAuliffe stable with Pike on board this afternoon.
