A few chances in the opener, its a very even field now with the scratching of the Wednesday winner in Silver Magic Ships. Rodeo Drive has been improving with racing, she ran her best race at her last start behind Calabria Joe on the bog track on Jul 26, if she can reproduce a run like that she is a chance to win her first race today. Her previous run was a good fourth to the well performed Castle Retreat, so she is working up to a maiden victory it seems. The returning Prentice is certainly one to watch out for, no doubt the Sires Produce win in the autumn was the highlight of his career so far, he won that race at luxurious odds, apart from that it may be fair to say he hasnt flattered, so its hard to get a guage on how good this horse might be. Maximus Mak is another who is improving with racing for Wally Mitchell, and Flying Roar has produced at trials but dissapointed in race starts so far, does look to have his share of ability though, not an easy race to start the afternoon.
