This opener looks like an extension of the Wednesday race card with a fairly even bunch of 3 year olds tackling 1400m. Only a 7 horse race and not one I'll be reaching into my back pocket for the Bally leather wallet. Beyond Pike-Durrant/Williams and potentially Warwick-Pope at the moment there is no more potent combination then Magic Turner and big DMac so I'll throw Rebel Queen in as the on toper. Should be a reasonable enough price and worth a speculation. Champagne Charger was the best of them in the Military Reign race so I think she will probably start favourite here. Looks an early winner for team Warwick. Of the rest Friarbird can easily run a place.
