Happy to be aboard Glitterbell to get the job done in the opener. She attacked the line extremely well behind debut winner Twelve Rounds after being backed into the red. Was slightly hampered halfway up the straight and meets Twelve Rounds 2kg better at the weights. She looks very hard to beat. I Do De Claire is an $80 000 Inglis yearling purchase who should get a lovely run from barrier 1 and looks to have genuine pace while Spirit Bird was passed in at $100 000 falling short of the $120 000 reserve price at the New Zealand yearling sales and has found her way to the Ascot yards of Nick Cox, should be doing her best work late.

This may sound unbelievable but is what actually happened. The judges misread the number on the horse that came third (the colours as well) confusing 5 and 15. They ended up declaring them both 3rd, despite Blue Palace finishing near the rear of the field. Oh ...
