Fulds Bet gets her chance to return to the winners circle today

This race does look the best chance for Fuld's Bet to win a race since her last win nine months ago. She has run just behind the winner at her four starts this campaign, in much stronger fields, and she wont get a better chance than this to salute. Last start she was too far back after a slow start, no doubt today she will either aim to lead or settle right on the pace, and she does look the class horse of the race. Jo Azzopardi claims 2kgs which brings her in with 57kgs, Fuld's Bet should really be winning this race. Hold Your Tongue was also a little unlucky last start and he looks the main danger if running up to his previous form, he has drawn to get a good run here in this small field also. Star Glitter is the other main chance, he was narrowly beaten in the Castle Retreat race a fortnight ago, and had also run a good race at his previous start. Those three look the best prospects in the opener, possibly Ripper Red is the best of the others for novelty punters, a nice riding engagement of William Pike here.

Cheques come in handy when school kids have to pay for stuff. I've got no problem sending my kid into school with a cheque but cash....NO WAY. He's lost 3 lunch boxes in the last 2 weeks  :))
