That was a set up again never ever given any pressure in front and they wanted to back it like was over line that race was a boat in my view.

Sydney - they never miss...funny how ringmeister was going to go forward, jock change with meeres on and the leader is unhindered in the run...

unbelievable.. it was always a query at the mile for mine but not when the rest arent trying... solid on betfair all the way through while every other runner totally unwanted. very smelly race. stewards need to be asking questions

    Stewards won`t be asking questions.

They see the favourite win and and call "All clear".

They simply aren`t smart enough to recognize whats going on.

Apparently 1 steward is supposed to monitor betting and highlight anything unusual.

Unless something goes from 100`s to odds on they don`t consider it out of the ordinary.

Is this Sydney again Vermeer? I thought it may cross from wide, but the flucs now suggest it will...

pretty amazing to think there is a steward 'monitoring' betting and sees nothing wrong with some of the races that have been regular in the last few months. big worry

difference in that race was that they backed almost every runner whereas pin rouge race they backed it only and everything else drifted

U don't have to bet. There seems to be a trend happening in WA.
  • U don't have to bet whats that got to do with the subject that's right nothing the reason I write it is I know the people in charge take notice that's y.And as u can see by the comments a lot thought same.

I see your point mailman, all I'm saying if it is that obvious that races are set up over there, then the punters maybe should drop off and boycott them instead of whinging when the same thing happens time and time again, which seems to be occurring lately.
  • Maybe that's true that's just not for me but I take your point cheers.

two keys to a nasty smell..change of jockey and the pace being messed with..Was at the track and whilst Pin Rouge was always a chance ....the race was run in a way that it would really struggle to lose..So often it isn't the winner that has done anything wrong or untoward....

As with others today..the favorite won...the blind mice see no reason to look any closer

First decent day of racing and everyone comes out to play...the stewards need to fix this really quick or there will be a lot less punters, punting a lot less....

Absolute debacle - not a word, not even a whisper in the stewards report....it is happening every single meeting now and the stewards are the only ones who have no idea what is going on. They must ask questions of frontrunners that refuse to lead or pressure the lead EVEN WHEN THE LEADER THAT WINS IS THE FAVOURITE!

    BUT...should NOT have been favourite.
3 runs in 3 weeks...up to the mile....
    people just KNOW!!

The stewards have been made aware, by numerous people from different sides of the game. ..they have chosen to do nothing. They have had people, within RWWA, raise it months ago and still nothing.

Its time for a full clean out of the stewards panel. They must be accountable and relevant.

what a pi55 weak bunch of administrators we have.
i know a steward in another code that would do the job...he is fearless and would start asking questions and FOLLOW IT THROUGH.

I cant understand why Ringmeister didnt push to the top like he does in most runs ?? It was like the jock was told to stay away from the leader which was heavily punted and saluted wake Stewards Pin Rouge had never won beyond 1500m.

Does WA have an ICAC? Independent Comission Against Corruption?

All you hind sight form students read times, margins and quality of fields Pin Rouge has raced in, kick your own backsides for not realizing he had the best credentials in his last three wins after his cracking first up run over 1200m he was obviously plunged by someone who is much smarter than you bunch of knockers, while you are crying in your beer, read your form guide properly

That's all very well Buddy but then what would I read on Sunday Mornings?

Losers bleat, winners gloat and the world takes 24 hours to spin around.

Another idiot who looks at the winner and says that he was the best horse in the race so him winning is okay..Why don't you have a proper read of what people are saying you drongo..

It's not about who wins, it is how the race is run to allow the winner to win...If your not a steward; I'd reckon to be that thick on this subject you would have to be sleeping with one of the boys..

Pin Rouge was a good chance to win..I actually had a saving bet on it, so i collected...but it is about how it gets to be there so easily so that it can run to it's optimum ability.....Without any pressure on the lead Pin Rouge was home... he got the exact run that you would expect and a horse like Ringmeister made it easier for him.

not sure its a boat race..or a set up..but due to the massive betting plunge and some anomalies, it is a race that should be looked at closely by the stewards....

I was on Trustee Brown he was given every mortal IMO may have gone a fraction early but he had to as the rider on Ringmeister wasnt that interested something had to go and put the acid on as PR would have won by more

I'm not an idiot or drongo, but I would like to think perth turf talk counterparts would write comments containing racing knowledge and intelligence suggesting action from steward, iccc and other bodies controlling corruption over a heavily backed front runner winning a 1600m race on a track with conditions favoring front runners could be seen as a little extreme, Anybody remember Vo Rouge?Certainly not insinuating a comparrison between the two runners but for a rival to a handy front runner who ever cuts throats with it may destroy the front runners chances and certainly your own setting it up for the back runners

hi guys RM was ridden to instructions . & on the fence 1 back, are you all blind what was the horse on PRs flank for 3/4 of the race a ghost oops that was BATTLE EMBLEM . i wonder what PONTY would have done , besides RM was gone at the corner once trusty went by him . just my observation but alls good cheers.

okay...i hear you..sleeping with the stewards then!!!! :D

You go get them tiger :-*

I'm personally very sick of the subject....but anomalies keep happening every time a horse is heavily backed...and generally when there is a rider change...and all are so easily explained..if there were one offs!!!!
